Friday Five

1. How are you planning to spend the summer?
Hopefully starting my new job…but I know I’ll also be working on authoring the DVD for Dancing With Gaia, editing Inventing: Stephen, and hopefully be working on writing Inventing: Green. Supposedly going to be shooting a music video for this guy, as well. Besides that, lots of cooking out, and I’m going to Denver for a weekend the end of August.

2. What was your first summer job?
I was a camp counselor at Cub Scout Day Camp. Best job I ever had. It was my summer job all through high school as well, even when I worked a “real” summer job at the paint store.

3. If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?
Australia, baby. I’ve always wanted to go.

4. What was your worst vacation ever?
Hmm…off the top of my head, it would be a couple summers ago…I went to Las Vegas with a girl I was dating…but apparently she had decided we weren’t dating anymore, and didn’t tell me…we had a pretty piss-poor time there (she was a day person, and I was up at night), and we didn’t speak at all on the plane ride home.

5. What was your best vacation ever?
That’s a tough one. Probably if you combine my last three trips to Vegas into one, that would be the best vacation ever.

One Response to “Friday Five”

  1. Not that you were looking for other people’s summer info, but here ya go…

    1. How are you planning to spend the summer?
Hopefully progressing into some new projects at work, in the free time; gardening, dancing and grilling out on the deck. I will also be e-Bay-ing. I am thinking about a pottery class too.

    2. What was your first summer job?
I didn’t have “summer” jobs, but the 1st job I had was teaching ice skating lessons when I was 13.

    3. If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go?
um…A tour around Europe. I would have said China with my friend Janice, but with SARS, maybe next year.

    4. What was your worst vacation ever?
A cross between Disney World and Washington DC. My dad was like a military seargeant on vacations, up early, march from one scheduled event to another, and there will be a quiz later. I went to Disney when I was too old to really like it, and in DC we couldn’t even go see the White House. I think it was too expensive or something. Plus I always get sunburn.

    5. What was your best vacation ever?
Ithica roadtrip in 2000 will always have a special place in my heart. But probably LA or Vegas because I was with someone who knew where to go to see cool stuff and have a good time. Plus lots of great dancing.
