To refer to emo as an entire subculture centered on being vain, melodramatic, pathetic, self-absorbed, and emotionally histrionic would be unfair. There’s more to it than that. There’s also all the terrible music, stupid haircuts, and fantastically complex MySpace profiles.

As usual, Something Awful is funnier than your sister.

  1. This cracks me up. When I heard the song “The Battle of who Could Care Less” and it says that in your old school ID you were all dressed up like The Cure I started to laugh. I think back then it was same as being an Emo kid now. In my 8th grade pictures I was all dress up like the Cure. But never an emo kid. How about you? Any regrettable mullets in the past?
