Positive thoughts needed

My cousin-in-law is pregnant with twin boys. This was very exciting news, and the entire family is super jazzed (there are very few boys on that side of the family, but I think everyone would be happy regardless).

About a week ago (25 weeks pregnant), she went into the hospital because she was having what seemed to be contractions. Long story short, she (and her babies) have been diagnosed with Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS). This is very serious stuff, and we’re all really scared.

If you are a praying kind of person, please keep my cousin in your prayers. If you’re not, please think nice thoughts anyway.

  1. 😦 so sorry to hear this! i hope your cousin (and husband) knows she’s surrounded by people that love her!! good thoughts!

  2. oh my gosh, that is so freaking horrible. you know im not much for praying, but you and your family are in my thoughts.

  3. My husband’s family has seen a lot of difficult pregnancies and it’s never easy. The worrying and waiting are excruciating, but it’s imperative your cousin stay as calm and healthy and positive as possible. Do little things to let her know you’re there and to help keep her spirits up (you’re awesome at this!). I’m so sorry she’s going through this, and I’ll be keeping her in my thoughts.

    Done.
